This joint project of UCU and the University of Notre Dame aims to document the critical state of cultural heritage in the vicinity of Kyiv and Chernihiv, the destruction and damage of which was caused by the full-scale invasion of Russia. It should also tell about the preservation of cultural monuments during the war. The authors of the project are Professor Ian Kuijt, Department of Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame and Fr. Andrii Shestak, deputy dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, director of the School of Journalism and Communication of UCU, together with Victoria Babenko, associate professor of the School of Journalism and Communications of UCU.

Students of the School of Journalism and Communications and bachelor's programs of UCU also actively joined the implementation of the project, the results of which will be several academic studies and a documentary video series.
